Bob started Ethington Building Supply after working at Wickes lumber for 15 years. In 1976, he started his journey to build Ethington Building Supply into a household name as he began with only doors, windows and trim, personally delivering the needs of each customer. Putting in the hard work it takes to become a successful full-service lumber yard with high quality building materials. He still has a hands-on approach getting outside on a forklift, assisting customers with every step in the lumber buying business and making sure everything is running smoothly around the yard. You can find Bob working alongside his son and daughter, making this a family owned and operated business.

Ashley started working at Ethington Building Supply in 1984 driving forklifts, loading trucks of all varieties and helping pick out the best products to fit everyone’s needs. After running the yard with the utmost professionalism, he made his way into the office to assist with the many sales needs of any customer. Today he is the man to see about house packages, pole barns including Trusses, decks, railings, kitchen cabinets, and any other special-order product you may need. Being a customer relations specialist means he will stay with you until the job is done, and to your satisfaction.

Candice joined the Ethington Building Supply team in 1995 answering phones, interacting with customers and ringing up their orders at the same time she attended the University of Louisville, KY. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business in 2002. After graduating she began handling all account inquiries for customers, new and old. Keith came to Ethington Building Supply in 1989 working in the yard, he interacted with customers and helped them pick out the best product for their project. By the winter of 1991, he decided it was time to move into the sales department and assist potential customers in building their home, barn or business. Adapting to changing markets and industry trends , traveling for face-to-face meetings and his ability to answer any questions without hesitation makes him ready to handle any task at hand. Keith's many years and experience in the lumber industry has him prepared to tackle any situation quickly and appropriately.

Butch started at Ethington Building Supply in 2013 working in the office making and closing sales to customers to fit all their building needs. No matter what the job, big or small, his knowledge of our products helps assist him with providing the best materials needed for any task. His expertise in the lumber industry such as calculating beams, figuring projects, Westbury Railing and numerous other products  will help guide you in the right direction when it comes to picking out the best quality product to fit any budget. With his commitment to providing outstanding service, Butch continues to learn about the best and new products available for our customers. His fast and friendly response time will leave you feeling fulfilled and satisfied.

Tony began in sales with Ethington Building Supply in 2020. After 2 tours in the Persian Gulf War as a Naval Communications officer stationed in Japan, he began his journey in the world of construction and lumber. For 6 years he worked for 84 Lumber in Bardstown KY, starting out as a manager and quickly moved into the sales department. Tony also dedicated 8 years to doing his own carpentry trim work before settling in with Ethingtons as outside sales. He can help with any project no matter what size, from a single room to an entire house his fun personality will leave you with a personable experience.

Ashley began working at Ethington Building Supply in 2021 helping customers find products throughout the store. She is responsible for keeping our shelves stocked and organized so things are easy to find. She helps keep our prices up to date to ensure our customers are getting the best deal. Her fun and friendly nature will have you leaving the office with a smile.

Stephen Phelps started working  at Ethington Building Supply in 2017, helping customers find the right materials for any job and getting them safely loaded. His willingness to answer any questions you may have about our products in the yard reflects the knowledge he has obtained by working hard to help customers leave with a positive experience. Whether it’s a small or big load, he will help ensure that the customer gets all their products loaded and delivered efficiently on time. Stephen's hard work and dedication to the yard gained him the respect and title of Yard Foreman.

Jeremiah started driving for Ethington Building Supply in 2022, becoming our fast and efficient CDL delivery driver. For 7 ½ years he worked as the general manager for Louisville Mega Caverns before obtaining his CDL in 2020. After driving for TMC Transportation, he decided that a local driving job was in his family’s best interest and found his home with Ethingtons. He will greet every customer with an inviting smile  and tackle any job no matter how big or small  with a positive attitude. Not only does he go above and beyond to ensure your products are delivered on time, he excels with his customer service inside the office and in the yard. Jeremiah is willing to go the extra mile helping customers to ensure that their experience with Ethingtons is friendly and fast.
